Save the Ionian

No new fossil-fuel drilling in the Ionian Sea or the Mediterranean.

An exploration well is planned west of Corfu for February 2027. The project's own environmental surveys recorded Cuvier's beaked whales and sperm whales in the area — the same species that stranded on Corfu's beaches in 2011 and again in 2022.

For those of us who swim, dive, surf, fish or sail in the seas, we reconnect again and again to this majestic force of nature. Through our encounters with the oceans, we seek to reunite the duality of human nature, the opposing forces, the masculine and the feminine, the Yin with the Yang. The oceans are the amniotic fluid of human existence. We owe it to our Planet Ocean to restore their health. 

Science

Scientific data and statistics can be intimidating and difficult to understand. We compile scientifically verified information in ways that are easy to comprehend. When people develop a better understanding of environmental science, they can take action to live sustainably with respect for other animals and species. 

Technology

In an ever-changing world, we utilize modern technology to unite and to fight for the life in our Oceans. We are slowly turning the tide in preserving the resources so precious to our planet. Ma Oceans platform works to Spotlight And Support startups, non-profits and individuals that are making an impact in this innovative space.
